Where can I find video or Audio Recordings of plays?

Asked by Rememberme (661points) May 5th, 2008

Specifically I am looking for a video or Audio recording of the play “Ma Raineys black bottom” by August Wilson. Preferably for free, but I understand if there is a fee.

I know a playwright who knew August Wilson. Let me ask her and get back to you. May take a day or two.

I know that libraries in our area are offering audio recordings for download now for free. I think they are all books.

They also have CD’s of plays at libraries of plays.

She suggested contacting the Pittsburgh Public Theater or the Penumbra Theater as well as “any sort of national producer’s organization.”
