Movie or TV flashbacks that freak you out?

Asked by XOIIO (18328points) August 24th, 2011

Holy fuck, scariest doctor who thing just happened. I remebered him talking about something in the corner or your eye cause I heard a sound, and though I saw something put turned around and there was nothing, and I was trying to remember what it was, and after a full minute I realized it was the silence. I had chills up and down my spine!

Have you had anything like this happen? It was so wierd!

also a Dr. Who 4Chan thread I started, all safe for work

To answer your details:
I remember from The Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy refering to something you can see by not looking directly at it. You have something unexpected (like a flying saucer), and put an SEP field around it (Somebody Elses Problem), and it becomes invisible.
Whenever I see something out of the corner of my eye, and turn to see nothing there, I figure it’s protected by an SEP field.

To answer your question:
Pretty much the entire movie Jacobs Ladder is flashbacks. Very freaky.

Flash Gordon movies. I was amazed at how a rocket could stay in the air, under its own power, without falling back to earth.

In one of the Flash Gordon movies, all of my youthful fears were calmed, when one camera shot exposed the strings holding this make-believe rockt, in the air.

Err, let me clarify. Have you ever had a flashback of something in a movie or tv show, like I did.

I used to be terrified of Little Danny Glick knocking on my window with his white pupils. (From Stephen King’s Salem’s Lot movie)
