Has Fluther seemed empty lately?

Depends. Sometimes people will answer away, sometimes they won’t. And activity levels are different on some days more than others. I’ve felt that way, too, before. But now I think it’s because I asked lame questions lol

Maybe people are on summer vacation somewhere without internet. Last week, for example, I had no internet whatsoever since I was camping. It’s the time of year for that to occur.

There’s a fair amount of us on the east coast. Maybe they don’t have power because of the hurricane. I might not, tomorrow (except I’ll be at work, where we have our own power plant).

Yes. The other night, a couple or so days ago at least, it seemed so empty I felt like I should turn the lights off and lock up on my way out and actually made a comment to that effect. I also kind of felt like asking some crazy question because the place seemed so deserted that there was no one around to flag me or mod me but I resisted the temptation. There were, I know for sure, three people on the site, including myself, friends of mine, and then maybe two or three other people I didn’t know, at least in terms of asking and answering. That’s not many people.

The hurricane might have affected us a little. We probably have a lot of northeasterners on here.

Indeed it seems to be, more so than usual anyways. Could be a lot of reasons, none of which I know. That nasty hurricane can be a reason, maybe some are getting ready to go back to school. One of my friends here is without a computer and won’t have it again for a week, for example. I’ve seen periods like this before though, prolly not much to worry about, unless you see a buncha zombies out your window.

I am out of sync with Fluther which mostly wakes up about six hours after I do. I am in bed when it is busiest.
