Does Microsoft Office or Word 2010 work on Apple computers?

I’m required to install one of these programs on my MacBook.

You’ll have to get Office for Mac 2011. Microsoft Office 2010 works only with Windows.

Or load Parallels onto your Mac, which lets you install Windows, which in turns lets you install the PC version of MS Office on your Mac. That’s the setup I’ve got now, which is OK. I’m slowly migrating from PC to Mac & this makes the transition easy.
