Personal Pictures On Debit Cards?

Asked by xStarlightx (416points) September 3rd, 2011

So I’m trying to put a picture of me and my best friend on my debit card.

It has to be under 2mb and 840 by 840

How do I go about doing this?

The picture is supposed to be for security reasons. Do you understand why having a picture of two people on the card could be a problem?

I wonder if there are two people on the photo if both people have to be present to use the card?

I don’t think a bank would put a picture of you both on the debit card because a debit card is an individual product and can’t be joint, even if you have a joint account linked to the card the card it self is only for one.

The picture is only for security reasons not to be a place to just put a picture you want. They have little picture holders that slip into your wallet for that reason or even better they make little digital keychain picture frames to load your pictures on that way a hard copy won’t get damaged.

I saw a few adverts on TV last year where people could put pictures of friends/family/pets and the like on their cards. Personally, I don’t get it but each to their own. This was advertised in Ireland so I don’t know what the story is with wherever you are.
Have you looked at their guidelines online?

I think you guys have me mistaken.
Its supposed to be a design on the card, not an identification measure.
