Pulse Oxymeter that measures CpO2 continuously?

Asked by HungryGuy (16039points) September 3rd, 2011

I would like to buy a Pule Oxymeter for a high-altitude aviation application (yeah, right…) that monitors CpO2 levels continuously, and sounds an alarm if the levels go outside a safe range.

Most Oxymeters I’ve found on Amazon and the like are for sports applications, and don’t measure continuously. They only take a single reading when you press a button.

I’d like it to also run on AC power so I don’t have to replace batteries, but I know that’s getting into hospital grade equipment that costs thousands of buckazoids. So I can live without that feature.

I don’t need data download and analysis software or other diagnostic capability.

Mainly, I need continuous monitoring with an alarm.

Any doctors in the house who can recommend one that meets my needs?
