Are you a "people watcher"?

I may pull out a book (or my laptop), but only after I have checked out all of the people.

Definitely yes. I love watching the world go by and wonder just who the people are, where they came from and where they’re heading.

I either start texting someone or start watching people.

Or both.

I scope the peeps.

If I don’t see anyone that I feel like watching, then I get out my cell and call someone.

I’m definitely a people watcher. In the scenario you give, I might read something, like the paper, but usually, I sit back and check people out. All sorts of people. Old men sitting nearby, annoying teen girls chirping away, the staff working there, people who walk by outside. I watch people at work, too.
That’s why I love Montréal, there’s so many people everywhere, and they’re all so different and fucked up, it rocks. I like checking out people’s behaviours as they go about their thing, too. I’m pretty good in body language, so it gets really interesting seeing people and noticing what may be habit, or displayed emotions and whatnot. I also love to listen and eavesdrop lol.

I live in Alaska, so I love to watch the weird tourists, dressed in layers, in the summer time. Haha.

Anytime I’m sitting some place, I observe people when I’m not actually speaking or listening to someone. I do this the most at clubs. You can’t talk anyway, because it’s so freaking loud, so I watch people instead. I could end up doing any of those options.

E) I am usually engaged with the person(s) I went out with that is why I am there in the first place. Last thing you will see in my hands is a cell phone as I think they are horribly rude to have out when out on a date.

I love to people watch.

I would like to people watch but have never discovered the knack of discretion. Maybe it is the old voices admonishing not to gawk or imagninig someone will say “you got a staring problem?” Just kidding. So I mostly B or C. Now, if I was an elderly gentleman, I bet I would get my jollies watching the ladies go by. They do it so blatantly and with such hungry eyes!!!

I do C. But I scope the place out first, in case some crazy shit goes down, and the police come and question me about stuff.

Yep. I don’t just watch, I analyze. I love to see all of the different body shapes, facial features, hairstyles, the way different people move, their gait, their expressions. I’m fascinated by how people look. It’s almost obsessive.

These days, I’m more likely to be on my phone and my daughter doesn’t exactly allow for quiet moments, but if I was alone, quiet and in a crowd—I process as many details as possible.

I’m more of a tittie watcher, a rewarding if slightly dangerous pastime. The wife has big hands & isn’t afraid to use em!
