Does Overstock.com deal entirely in refurbished items?

Asked by deepseas72 (1076points) May 6th, 2008

I bought three watches from Overstock, thinking I was buying new items, but my husband says they only sell refurbished items. True or false?

I’ve bought a few things from Overstock.con (duvet, blankets, clothing) and I am relatively certain that these were new items, just…overstocked. They do sell some estate jewelry that is certainly not new, and that might be the case for other categories as well, but on the whole I would say they are not refurbished.

blue is correct. the vast majority of stuff on overstock is new.

They make a point of stating when an item is refurbished. The only refurbished item I’ve seen on Overstock.com is a Dyson vacuum cleaner.
