Geordi La Forge said about his blindness that everyone should have a chance at life and the technology to make him see helped save the Enterprise… I think he might have been talking to an off worlder or Borg who said that they would have killed anyone with a birth defect…maybe Hue?

He is talking about how eugenics, and making a point that all life has value.
@poisonedantidote You know better of course but why do I seem to also recall that maybe La Forge delivered a message along this line in one of their movies?
I think you’re thinking of The Enemy, Season 3 Episode 7. I can’t find the exact quote, but Geordi’s visor is used to save the day, following a discussion of how Geordi would not even have been allowed to live on Romulus.
