I’m a big sucker for new gimmicks that promise stronger athletic performance. I’ve tried oral supplements that claim to help deliver more oxygen to the muscles or that help to build more muscle. Also I’ve bought magnetic insoles and special orthotics. The latest thing that I went for was a hologram bracelet that is suppose to increase balance and strength. I keep thinking that nothing ventured then nothing gained but so far I just keep losing money. HA!

Halloween. My family was poor, so I was forced to wear that sucker costume every year from the age of 4 through 12. I was happy to have a costume, and it really fit my bulbous head and twig-like body quite well. Although, I didn’t get much candy, because people would always say “You’re candy. I’m not giving candy to candy so that candy can eat said candy. That’s cannibalism!” Then they would slam their doors in my face.
