Is there any special bedtime ritual you did as a child that you still do as an adult?

By this I mean there are things that I can not go to sleep unless

1) The bedroom door is shut, because my brother used to tell me is shuts the ghost’s out and stops them watching me sleeping.

2) Bury myself into the duvet, so that vampire’s don’t bite me. (Obviously don’t believe that anymore, but now is a comfort thing)

3) My SO can not have his legs dangling over the edge of the bed because when he was a child he thought something would pull him off.

So what are yours if any?
