Are there advantages to a bamboo-derived rayon duvet cover?

Since the weather’s turning cool, we’ll soon be switching to our down comforter. Our current duvet cover is way too heavy, and I’m thinking about replacing it with a bamboo-derived rayon cover.

Does anyone have an opinion, pro or con?

Thanks for asking this question because as a designer I know little about bamboo fabric and it forced me to do a bit of research out of curiosity. I found this explanation of the qualitites of bamboo fabric and also a buyer beware warning. Quite informative. I guess you need to know whether or not the maker is selling you the real thing in order to know if it has the great properties inherent in bamboo.
