Does anyone know any good Monologues for Antigone or Abigail Williams of 'The Crucible'?

Asked by TeamEdward (44points) September 12th, 2011

I need a monologue for my Beginning Acting class. It needs to be a character of out gender and roughly our age(in my case 24). It needs to be roughly 90 seconds, no longer than 2 minutes.
Because I need to know the play and thus the character, ‘Antigone’ and ‘The Crucible’ are plays which contain female characters of my age group, I have worked with in high school so I know them already and can remember the gist. I need to have something to bring in to the class which meets tonight(Mondays 6:50pm-10pm). Ideally I would like to be able to bring in something from both plays because he will help me decide which is best for me.

Either providing a website which contains them or giving me the act number in the play which you believe contains something good would be very appreciated. I am not having any luck with Google.

Again I need it by tonight.

Gutenberg has a lot of public-domain books.

@Nullo: thank you very much.
I have made my choice however, and am going to buy ‘The Crucible’ tomorrow.
Thanks anyway to everyone else.
