Is Brian Souter gay?

Asked by dedededhabba (4points) September 15th, 2011

Brian Souter is the owner of stagecoach. His strong stance against homosexuals suggests he might be a repressed one himself. Is there any truth in this?

It depends on whether you believe the research:

“Research by US psychologists suggests that 80% of men who are homophobic have secret homosexual feelings. (Bigots are buggers)

In tests conducted by Prof. Henry E Adams of the University of Georgia, homophobic men who said they were exclusively heterosexual were shown gay sex videos.

Four out of five became sexually aroused by the homoerotic imagery, as recorded by a penile circumference measuring device – a plethysmograph.

Prof. Adams says his research shows that most homophobes “demonstrate significant sexual arousal to homosexual erotic stimuli”, suggesting that homophobia is a form of “latent homosexuality where persons are either unaware of or deny their homosexual urges”. (Bigots are buggers)” Source

There is really no way to answer this question accurately.

Even if a similar to @marinelife‘s research (that is, the one she pointed to) research showed that 70% of coach company owners are gay, you’d still wouldn’t be able to tell if Brian was one.

My new word-of-the-day: plethysmograph. Worth getting up in the morning just to have learned that that is a fancy way of describing a penile circumference measuring device.

Do you suppose the inventor of that has already got a patent?

Will his company go public? Should we buy stock?

What is stagecoach? What does it do?

Brian is the owner of one of the largest bus company in uk. I think we should ignore his views on homosexuality unless he says gay people can’t travel in his buses. Then we can prosecute him for discrimination
