Would you donate to a bike ride sponsor 'ask' online?

My boss is going on a 2000 mile bike ride this summer and we created a website www.2000miles4justice.org to gain support and sponsors. Some people seem reluctant to pledge online. Is this a generational thing? Or because our organizational is controversial?

A lot of people, young and old, are shy of so-called controversial topics like abortion (assuming that is part of her goals in the realm of “reproductive justice”). Sadly, its most pronounced when it involves any attempt to bring equity to women and their rights. I hope you get some more sponsors.
