Any Advice on Applying to a TEDx Conference?

I am thinking of applying to a TEDx conference with some research work I am doing on Climate Change. I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with the TED conferences and might give me some advice on what might give me a leg up.

Go to their website. There’s bound to be some help on there. If not, look for your local facebook group. I know there’s one for every major city and that will have a lot of information.
