(NSFW I guess) Will this antibiotic give me my least favorite side effect?

…a yeast infection, naturally. I was just prescribed Metronidazole (Flagyl) for my stomach problems. Last time I was on antibiotics I got a horrible yeast infection.

If so, I obviously can’t treat the infection until the antibiotics are done (two weeks, ugh), but what can I do to make it bearable for that long? Or can I prevent the yeast infection without interfering with the antibiotic’s work?

Edit: bonus question: I’ll be taking four tablets a day. The doctor said to cut down to three if it makes me nauseous. I’m pretty sure it will, based on my reaction to other meds. Can I just go ahead and take three from the start?
