When I was looking to learn C# I made use of this website, and it was very very helpful. There is a cost though (it was $53 in 2009 for a year’s subscription).

C++ is an extremely complex language; there is no way to pick it up quickly. This is one place to start.

The best way to learn a programming language is to write simple programs; take other programs and figure out how they are doing it; modify… in short, mess around and play. Set yourself tasks. Learn to debug. Debugging is 4/5 of the learning….

This site seems like a good place to start.
