When was the last time you heard of a book being released in serialization?

I can’t recall in my lifetime of hearing that a single book was being released serially. However, a small publisher is doing just that with a book by a very well known artist here in Hawai’i. This beautiful book has the story of two goddesses of these islands told with simple words and adorned with exciting woodblock prints.

Have you heard of a book being serialized in the past 10, 20 or even 50 years?

Why I feel like I need to add this, I don’t know, but I do not work for the publisher. This is not spam. I want to know about the history of serialization in the second half of the twentieth century up to the present.
