Will Chaz Bono survive DWTS due to the ”Palin Factor"?

Asked by Hypocrisy_Central (26879points) October 4th, 2011

Bristol Palin competed in the fall 2010 season Dancing With The Stars, and week after week received the lowest judge’s scores and was not as good of a dancer nore had the charisma of the others yet made it to the finals by help of the Tea Party. Will the LGBT community serve as Chaz Bono’s Tea Party, staving off the inevitable loss to make a political point?

Now I know Carson Kressley, who is gay and can’t dance well either, but he is at least entertaining and has some charisma, plus he is getting better. I feel if he survives for a while it will be due to his improvement and showmanship, not because a bloc voted him down the line.

There may be a bump effect from Mom.

No. The Tea Party might watch DWTS, but it is too gay for the LGBT community.

Seriously, Bono will not have that kind of tasteless support.

I only watched the portion of the show where Nancy Grace’s dress “malfunctioned”. I never understood the whole premise, do they actually charge viewers when they vote?

I have also heard that more people vote on this type of show than vote in elections, I find that depressing.

No… I don’t think so.

Usually, the bloc vote only carries so far if there is not dancing skill.
