Where should I buy a candle from?

Asked by prioritymail (1630points) October 26th, 2011

I want my room to smell like spring rain, the beach, or maybe a spa. I mean actually smell like that, not like some artistic interpretation of rain that actually smells like toxic fake flowers. I don’t want to spend a lot. Where should I look? Thanks!

Yankee Candle, with stores in most malls, have a wide variety of scented candles. They also have an online store.

Yankee Candle, Glade or Febreeze Candles can be purchased at any supermarket or pharmacy.

A third vote for Yankee Candle. They are a bit pricier than your average supermarket candle, but they’re worth it.

WoodWick Candles are the best I have ever found. If you can get to an outlet, they’re really cheap. Unfortunately, they’re very expensive otherwise. I stocked up at my local outlet before I moved across the country. I will miss the candles when they’re gone.

If your purpose is strictly scent and not necessarily candle scent, you might want to try diffusers, as they pose no safety hazard, don’t need to be blown out, and last for quite a while.

Bath and Body Works has good candles. There’s usually a sale on them also.
