How many pieces of candy corn would be in this fish bowl?

The bowl is 7 inches tall and 16 inches in diameter. This is a contest at a local department store. The problem lies within the three pieces of candy corn taped to the top of the bowl. These pieces are half-hidden, so there may be other pieces underneath each one. I have my own guess at the number of pieces inside the bowl. Question: so, Fluther mathematicians, what is your guess as to the number of pieces of candy corn in the fish bowl? Contest ends tonight at midnight….naturally.
