I play the guitar and sing so I was wondering if you guys knew of some cute modern love songs that I could possibly sing to my boyfriend for our nine months(: I am a teen and just wanted to do something fun! Thanks! Anything will help(:

“Someone like you” by Adele is realy good, but it is a sad love song.
A bit of tweaking in the lyrics to suit your boyfriend, and Bruno Mars’ ‘Just the Way You Are’ would be really sweet.

It’s not quite modern, but imagining the scenario; a song a lover could play/sing to me that would make the hugest impression would be “Will You Love Me Tomorrow” by the Shirelles. It’s quite melancholic and maybe a bit too dire to be “cute”, though. And I’m not sure how it could be adapted to guitar, but gosh, if someone sang that for me I’d remember it forever~
Maybe you should just think of what romantic songs are his favorites and go with some of those.

@littlekori Pretty much anything off of John Mayer’s Battle Studies, although a friend says Edge of Desire is her fav, here by me, Three Doors Down.
I really like ‘We found love’ by Rihanna these days. I don’t like her, but the song’s good!
I know these are a bit older, but still not the same old thing – Love Cats by The Cure is fun and Mad About You by Sting is my personal favorite. Gonna think more about this at work today…
One of most beautiful love songs is Something , but you may need to change some of the words to change the sex.
