I get off work about 1:30 am, get to bed about 2:30. I am up at 7:30 to feed the dog and let her out. Then I do what stuff I need to do for the day, take a nap after lunch, get up in time to get to work at 3:45.

Fridays I only have to work a half day. But I am up by 3:30 or 4:00am on most weekends to hunt or fish, but I go to bed a whole lot earlier too.

I start work in the mornings at five different scheduled times: 07:00, 08:00, 08:30 and 09:30. Once or twice a week I start work at 16:00 p.m. I generally get up on or about 04:30 a.m. to get my exercising in. I try to be in bed by 22:00 except for the times that I have to work the evening shifts.

This quarter I have class every day at 10:00 A.M., so I typically get up at 9 on weekdays and go to bed around 1:00 A.M.

On weekends, I go to bed whenever (usually not later than 2:00 A.M.) and get up around 10:30 A.M. I could sleep in later, but I usually don’t like to because then it feels like my whole day is already gone.

I work 5 feet away from my bed.

Today I went to bed around 8AM and woke up around 5PM. I have pretty much forgotten what daylight looks like.

ANef_is_Enuf's avatar

^I sleep like that during the week. On the weekends I’m usually up by 7am.

YARNLADY's avatar

I sleep until I wake up, usually around noon or so, and I go to bed when I get sleepy, around 2 am or 3 am.

jerv's avatar

Usually around 8:30-ish, but I am up before 6:00 in order to get to work by 7:00.

I generally am wide awake by 5 am. Then my eyes are drooping by 9 pm. We don’t have daylight saving here so it is light by 5, might as well get up and start the day!

Between 6:00 to 6:30. Occassionally a little earlier. The best mornings were 5:00 in Lake Placid. That’s also when I took the picture that’s my avatar.

0530 work day or not. The only time I sleep in is if I’m sick. I had a cold a few weeks ago and made it to 0700 then I felt terrible all day.

There is nothing like getting up, making coffee, and going to my warm office with a comfortable chair and read the news to see what happened while I was asleep. Lately, I’ve gotten an extra jolt of adrenalin reading about the stupid shit at the Republican Debate and Comedy club.

I’ve been waking around 6:30 and I hate it. I much prefer waking around 7:30 or 8:00, I just sometimes get onto my husband’s schedule. I am a night person, I hate being exhausted by 9:00 at night. When I go to sleep is affected by my thryoid also, it is hard to regulate. Before my thyroid problem I always slept 9 hours, now that is all screwed up. I’ve been going to bed around 11:00 lately. It changes though.

AshLeigh's avatar

Ew. It’s 6:53, and I’m awake. :C

Foolaholic's avatar

If I’m waking up for class, then I get up an hour and a half in advance. If it’s my own time, I can usually stay conked out till 10 or 11am.

TheIntern55's avatar

I have to get up at about 5:45 to catch my 6:20 bus. I usually go to bed at about 9:00. Even on the weekends, sleeping in is 7:30.

AshLeigh's avatar

@Adirondackwannabe, I’m not a bum. I at least got up. Haha. AT 6:15!!! D:

HungryGuy's avatar

On weekdays, I’m up at 8 AM. Quick shower and catch a bus to work (if it’s insanely hot or cold, then I’ll drive). If the bus is early when I get downtown, stop for a cup of tea and a bagel. Then get to work by 9.

On Saturdays and Sundays and holidays, sleep ‘till noon…

rojo's avatar

You guys that only wake up once a morning are soooooo lucky. Those of you who are young, don’t get used to it.

Berserker's avatar

On weekdays, I go to bed at twelve, twelve thirty am. Get up at six, sometimes a bit later, but never after six thirty. I fuckin hate it. On weekends, I go to bed in between two am to six am, and wake up, most certainly, at one thirty pm, (alarm clock setting so I don’t sleep till five pm, and this isn’t a joke) earliest. Usually later.
Even if I have day time classes/work, it’s so fucked up how I revert back to night owl state so quickly on days off. Sundays suck.

Haleth's avatar

As late as I can. Maybe an hour or an hour and a half before my shift on work days, which has sometimes been as early as four AM. Ughhh, at my last job it sucked so hard waking up, going to work, setting up, getting the first customers, and only then watching the sun rise. Going by my internal clock, I’d go to bed at around 3 AM and wake up at noon. Obviously that doesn’t work in the real world, so I’m kind of out of sync most days.

rojo's avatar

Just as an aside: I absolutely love Sunrises but usually they come to damned early for my taste. Maybe if I went to bed at a decent hour….

reijinni's avatar

@Haleth, are you sure that you don’t work the late shift?
