Is getting an ISIC card when studying abroad worth it?

I ask in terms of the insurance you receive in return. I have no idea how it works. I default assume that filing claims is more trouble than its worth. I think the card comes with some other discounts on things to do, but I generally don’t end up taking advantage of deals like that. Anyone have first hand experience with this program?
