It’s 2011 we need a beer update. Currently my favorite beer is White Rascal. What’s yours?

Still Stella. She’s the only woman who hasn’t let me down yet.

Berliner Kindle, on draught, served in Berlin (so it’s still fresh).

Innis and Gunn Rum Cask.

FAT TIRE. It’s a locally brewed beer here in Colorado. But my son tells me the beer in Europe is the best.

Widmer Hefeweizen. It looks like a bad urine sample, but it tastes divine, especially on a hot summer day.

I also used to love a wonderful stout that I got on tap at the Society Hill hotel in Philadelphia. Can’t remember who made it..

I like Pacifico, Corona, Stella Artois, Blue Moon and Pyramid Apricot Ale,
BUT…I live near 2 microbreweries, Jack Russel and Goldhill vineyards/ microbrewery in the Sierra foothills.

www.goldhillvineyard.com has a fleet of amber and dark ales to die for.

My all time favorites are their Scotch Ale and the Pick and Axe stout. Deeeelicious!

They serve a great sampler tray and have the most incredible deck overlooking the vineyards of their winery, heaven on earth!

Evening has arrived so I’m now settling down with a Wychwood Scarecrow, soon to be followed by a Marstons Old Empire and topped off with a Badger Fursty Ferret!

La Fin du Monde. French for ’‘the end of the world’’. It’s funny because the label shows the province of Québec as ’‘the end of the world’’ haha.

It’s really strong beer, but its taste is sweet and light. I totally swear by it.

This week it’s Leffe Bruin. Next week it will be something else. There’s too many beers in the world, I can’t choose just one.

Berserker's avatar

@Mamradpivo Leffe Bruin rocks. :) I love it.

Lightlyseared's avatar

@Symbeline brune is good, But my favourite Leffe has to Vieille Cuvée. Its just a pain to find the damn stuff.

Berserker's avatar

I never even heard of it…is it dark like Brune?

Lightlyseared's avatar

It’s a dark beer, ever so slightly sweet and sort of reminds me of dark chocolate. Unfortunately it’s pretty rare. Even in belgium it hard to find. But sometimes that’s what makes something great, you know. If I had it every day of the week I’d be bored of it no time.

Any beer that remains in the store after I had left.
