Are test and keep product just scams?

Asked by AshlynM (10684points) November 21st, 2011

Are there really products out there you can test and keep for free, no hidden fees or costs?

What about the iPad2?

I wouldn’t trust it. Read the fine print and if you can, reviews from other users.

It is a scam. If it looks too good to be true, it probably is. If you have doubts, write to Apple and ask if it is for real.

Yes I got caught up in that rap with Handyman. I was suppose to try tools and keep them but I got a bill. I sent them all back at their expence.

@AshlynM You didn’t give many specifics, but if it’s about the iPad2, ask yourself this: this product has been out almost a year now; why would Apple need any testers for this? They should be testing the iPad3.
