Are beauty marks and moles attractive?

Asked by Earthflag (549points) November 23rd, 2011

I have a slim body, but lately I’ve been getting beauty marks a lot. I have two small under my eye, right on the corner. I have about 10 small on my arm, and 3 on my neck, also 1 medium sized on my chest and 5 on my stomach… It is funny because most of them appeared this year. Are they a turn off?

I find the little things that make us different from everyone else a huge turn on.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Some people may find them attractive, while for others, it may be a turn-off.

On a side note, that is a heck of a lot of moles to crop up in such a short time. I encourage you to make an appointment with a doctor to have them checked. Keep a close eye on them for any changes. Something serious could be going on with your body that needs medical attention.

Are they moles or freckles? That seems odd that they just suddenly appeared like that. I’m a very freckly person, and I have a smattering of large “beauty marks.” A couple on my face, a few on my back, and a few on my arms… but they never change. They have always been in the same places and I never get new ones. Just new freckles. Moles usually exist from birth or shortly after, freckles appear later in life from sun exposure.
Also, the build of your figure has little to do with it… tendency to freckle is mostly hereditary, and has to do with your skin type, not your body type.

@Earthflag Good answers on the “they shouldn’t be changing” thoughts. And I forgot my manners. Welcome to fluther.

I have freckle constellations (dots? beauty marks?) all over the place, and am super pale. My dad has had cancerous chunks of skin removed… all I can say is, sunscreen! Ask your doctor to check them when you have a physical, if you can, but I wouldn’t be super alarmed.

They are probably cute and not as noticeable as you think.

I have a beauty mark (birth mark) next to my navel. It’s cute. I call it my Madonna mole (although it’s not a mole).

I have a few moles and I like them although, I’m not freckly and the moles I have are quite far apart from each other. I have one on my lip (actually on the lip not above the lip like most traditional “beauty spots” are) which people sometimes mistake for a bit of food!!! I also have two quite raised ones on my back. I have a couple of birth marks (I wouldn’t call them moles as they are not raised and are more like darker patches of skin) one under my chin and one on the inside of my knee.

There was this lad at school, we were friends & it was just a bit of banter. He had this small risen mole on the back of his neck, we called him coco pops.
I like coco pops, they turn the milk chocolatey!

Yes, on the right person at the right location.

Chicken pox marks are also attractive if on the right person.

I have never had the chicken pox, so my face is without a mark.

I have one or two moles and many freckles. Over the last few years I have developed a freckle on the tip of my big toe (I jokingly told my family they can use it to identify my body if they ever need to) and more recently one just under my derriere on my left side. I really like that one.

I love the variance of the human body. My hubby is a super moley guy and it’s been interesting to see how his moles change through the years.

My vote is that they are attractive.
