What is something you always used to love to do that, during the last year or two, you feel like you've outgrown or have lost interest in doing?

Things change, people change, situations change. We all have habits and some are things that you feel you could not make a day or week without doing.

What is something you always used to love to do that, during the last year or two, you feel like you’ve outgrown or have lost interest in doing?

Lots…

Watching porn, smoking weed, playing sim/tycoon games, going to night clubs, trolling and saying weird shit to strangers in elevators to fream them out. Just to name a few.

Since 1980 and I was a teen, our family has rented a house on a beach. Once I met the SO a few years ago, the beach trip just wasn’t the same. He hasn’t been able to attend due to work, and I much prefer our vacations together, as much as I love my family.

@poisonedantidote Good for you!

Down sizing the animal herd.

While I will always love animals I no longer desire to care for multiples.

I am still struggling with whether or not I MIGHT try to adopt another cat for my newer cat after an awful year of cat issues, starting with the death of my old guy, adopting a new one that ran away 2 months later or was eaten by the coyotes or cougars on my mountain. THEN, adopting another that I had for 8 months and whom died after a short and fatal illness. THEN attempting to adopt a stray my daughter found that did not work out at all with my resident kitty.

All in all I have spent about 2k on cat related stuff in one year, I think I’ll leave well enough alone.

My geese are 6 and 13, ( the 6 yr. old is a second wife for my 13 yr. old gander whose previous mate of 10 years had to be euthanized for a crippling leg condition in 08 ) they can live 20+ years, and my new kitty is only 2.5

I do miss having a horse. I have a beautiful pasture that stands empty, but, alas, the expense of a truck and trailer to hit the good river/mountain trails, and the lack of riding friends these days prevents me from buying a horse.

I DO browse horses for sale online, the love dies a hard death, but, it is replaced with the ease of less work. lol

Nothing off the top of my head. The things I’ve most loved I still do unless I can’t but not out choice.

Mountain bike riding. Since 911 the base has been closed to people and there’s nowhere else to ride that is practical. And certain health situations make it hard. I still have the bike and would like to get rid of it. It is an awesome machine and that makes it more of a shame.
