Can you suggest some clothing websites for curvier ladies?

Asked by KatawaGrey (21483points) November 26th, 2011

I am a somewhat oddly shaped girl. I’m not big enough to be plus-sized, but most dresses I see are made for girls with smaller boobs and flatter stomachs. So, collective, can you direct me to some sites that sell dresses for girls who aren’t small or plus-sized but somewhere in the middle?

Have you tried dressbarn.com ? They have those in between sizes. I’m thinking you might be to young for chicos.com, but they are always good for those mid sizes. There might be some things you like there. Keep in mind that their size 3 is more like a 12–14.

As a big chested woman, with three big chested teenage girls, I sympathize. You often have to go plus size just to fit the boobage. If needed, you can get the other bits of the clothing altered by a tailor.
Torrid.com (trendy plus size)
Roamans.com (a mix of good and absolutely horrible clothing, but from size medium to 5X!)
Talbots.com (classics)
LandsEnd.com

Ahem. Of course, as a Web developer, my interest in curvy women’s clothing is strictly professional, you understand. That said, in addition to @augustlan‘s list, you might look at http://www.curvygirlclothing.com/ and http://www.curvystyle.com/.

Happy shopping.

onestopplus.com starts at medium, I believe

Junonia is another good site, but can be a bit pricey. Their clothing holds up well though.

In addition to the ones mentioned above, I really like a good sale at Coldwater Creek Their clothes go the full range from XS to 3XL and are usually purchased by older women (40+), but I can find staples there that can be worn by any age.
