The theme from Pac-Man has always been my fav.

There’s Zombie on Your Lawn, if that’s what it’s called, I don’t know. It’s just such a stupid, cheerful little song. :-) And it’s a computer game, not a video game so I don’t know if it counts.

While it may be too early too tell if this will be a classic, the music in Skyrim is amazing.

Shit man, you’re asking one hell of a question…I can’t link all this shit lol. Too much good music. Final Fantasy VI is one of my favourite video game soundtracks of all time, closely followed by Chrono Trigger.

Here is Atma’s theme from FFVI. One of my tops from the game…although it’s really bloody hard to choose from that game’s soundtrack.

Magus’s theme from CT. One of my all time favourite video game characters, too.

Regardless of how hard it is to not leave so many songs out, I can’t make a favourite game song list without mentioning the Silent Hill theme.

@All – All great music! Thanks for the answers! I’ll have to give Zelda a try! Unfortunately I own an Xbox and a Playstation, but not a Wii (jumping around and waving my arms to play a game doesn’t appeal to me).

@Symbeline – And yeah, all the music from Final Fantasy games rock! I even have the music soundtrack CD set for FF VII (Cloud vs. Sephiroth) that I ordered off eBay and imported from Japan.

I also have the FFVII soundtrack, as well as the one for VI and CT. I got them years ago from an anime shop in Winnipeg, who had to order the soundtracks from Japan. They all cost me more than the games did. XD

My favorite songs from the video games are “Escape From the City” from “Sonic Adventure 2” and the theme song from “Super Mario 64,” because I play those games on the GameCube and the Nintendo 64.
