What do you want for Christmas this year?

Asked by filmfann (52223points) December 4th, 2011

Don’t say what you think you get. Tell us what you would really like, even if there is no chance of your getting it.

This. One of the jellies on this website made it and has her own jewelry store and I definitely want this piece more than anything else right now.

A new TV. Nothing wrong with my current one, but it isn’t designed to accomodate the PS3, and other than watching movies, (works fine for that) that’s all I use it for.

Peace on Earth. What do you think the chances are?

Two more pairs of Abrocrombie and Fitch skinny leg sweat pants, and a couple matching tops to go with them if possible. Warm tops, not t-shirts.

Grey boots and a grey sweater to match a skirt I have.

A small bundt pan.

Some new underwear, the basics I wear from Victoria Secret, and a couple pairs of MSU underwear if they exist.

4 hours with a personal organizer.

Merry Maids for a winter clean.

Some new workout pants for zumba class.

I wanted a pizza cutter, but my parents already bought me one for the holidays when they were here.

@JLeslie Those skinny leg sweat pants are wonderful. They are so comfortable and I wear them to my morning classes.

@KateTheGreat I bought a pair a few weeks ago, and now I just want to throw out all my really old sweats, and see the new pretty colors folded neatly in a stack on my shelf where I keep my sweats. They feel great, and if they are a little long they stay rolled at the bottom. Plus, they are close to the leg, so they keep me warm like long johns. They are awesome. I almost never go in A&F, so it was a fluke that I even discovered them.

A Kindle Fire (or an iPad if any jellies are secretly rich)
Clothes shopping money
A new car
A new house
Perfect health and medical miracles for my family and friends

I don’t want much, really… :P

JLeslie's avatar

@WillWorkForChocolate We can ask for medical miracles? I’ll take that one.

Shoes. Just a huge freaking pile of shoes. Like these babies. (Buuuut I knew wouldn’t get them, so I bought them for myself. :)~ )
Or these in “wine.” :)

I really need a new cell phone; mine is three years old!

I could also really use a laptop for school.

Clothing would be great, but sizes can get really complicated and hit-or-miss for me, so it’s not something I can really ask for as a gift.

Now, things that I actually have a chance of getting-
This bag in navy or in green and navy.

These porcupine quill earrings.

This collar-style necklace.

An Urban Decay eyeshadow palette.

And a whole crapload of Etsy jewelry like this and this (which sold out, to my dismay!).

Great food, great rest, and great sex. Not necessarily in that order.

I really want a laptop or a webcam, but since I know I won’t be getting either, I’m asking for a new iPod Touch for my “big” present.

For smaller presents, I’m asking for various video games/jewelry/clothes etc. from places like Etsy and Forever 21.

I love how two of Auggie’s children have posted in this thread. Now that’s a great idea to get what you want!

A bookshelf. I have boxes and boxes of books in my room and no where to display them. It’s practical, affordable if you look at the right place, and will make me a happy camper.

An ice cream van.
I’d have it play appropriate melodic tunes like Ice Ice Baby or the theme from Banana Splits.

@Imadethisupwithnoforethought : Merry Christmas, here ya go. Enjoy…

The perfect guy. Like seriously: Perfect.
Or if not then I’d like a ‘Guy-customizing-machine.’

Imadethisupwithnoforethought's avatar

@JilltheTooth I feel like I should make a “chicks” joke here.

@Imadethisupwithnoforethought : Only if you want to barraged with Audubon pictures… ;-)

If I could have what ever I wanted I would choose to have a peaceful end with all memory of my ever exisiting to anyone completely erased from their memory so I just did not exist and never did. No one remembers me because i was never here.Other than that, Yes, Peace and Wellbeing on Earth I don’t know which is more likely or possible. One can only hope.

A cure for autism and other Polygenic disorders. The admission of the R Wingers that the Government of the United States of America should be funding such research. Before their families are affected by such disorders (diseases).
If one more of these morons says, again it should all be privately funded I may be forced to tell them how dumb, immoral and deluded they are and; that I pray they find out why they are wrong the way Nancy Regan did.
This research is on going and people like Gingrich oppose it. They will until they reap what they sow. I pray that day is soon. They make me angry and I wish that everyone would see how truly immoral they are.
I know that No one has the right to judge me until they have walked in my shoes and others who have suffered like me.
I would say this to anyone and I know if God exist he,she it would agree.
I want this Holiday Season justice for autistic people, Middle Class people, elderly people, special needs people and; the Elitist to be put in their God forsaken immoral places. Along will all those who think that their religion should dictate to the world how we live.

I think I’m going to randomly move to the South, and I’m terrible with directions. Therefore, I want a GPS. I haven’t dropped any hints though, so it’s highly unlikely.

About 91 thousand kroner to pay off the debts my husband racked up this past year so we don’t lose our home and so I don’t have to take my son and leave him.

To run away with my boyfriend to someplace warm and have no more financial worries.

On a more realistic note, I would like some money or supermarket vouchers to help with everyday expenses. Sounds boring but I am sick to death of constantly worrying about money.

A trip to Disneyland for hubby and me.

A newer car for my mom.

A job for my sister.

Actually, nothing. I told my parents to just doante the money they would’ve spent on my gift to charity.

A beach house with a blonde pool boy.
