Why would a photo on iPhoto not upload onto my Flickr account?

The original was sent to my email by @Rooeytoo. I was able to add it to iPhoto without any difficulty and then also use it on Facebook. Now it seems to be uploading but does not show up on Flickr. (Use words of one syllable, please.)

Try dragging the photo out of iPhoto. Put it on your desktop and upload it from there. Uploading straight from software can be a difficult read for Flickr, much like uploading straight from a SD Card straight onto the internet data has to travel and weird things can happen.

@whitetigress: I copied the image onto the desktop; when I open it, I get an error message that reads, “The file “milo red beret.jpg” could not be opened because it is empty,

The image in iPhoto sure looks like a picture of my cat wearing a red beret.

Any other ideas? Thank you.
