Any suggestions on how to maintain and treat break outs on combination skin?

I have combination skin so nearly all of the products and treatments I’ve used has either dried my face, made my cheeks red, burned really bad, or made a breakout worse. All I’m asking for are some ideas and suggestions for maintaining my skin and treating breakouts.
