Have you ever had someone say something about you that surprised you?

The other day I was doing something….I forget what. My eight-year-old granddaughter asked what I was doing. My daughter said, “Oh, Gramma’s just inventing something again.”
I paused then said, “Do I invent stuff a lot?”
She said, “Yeah!”
I said, “Does it ever work?”
“Sometimes,” she said.
That made me happy for some reason!

I thought of that exchange because I just realized I was “inventing” a new wreath out of one larger one and one smaller one. : ) And then I have to invent crap to hang on it, because that suffices for our Christmas tree now a days. It goes above the fire place.
