If I opened a personal AOL email on my work computer, and it possibly has a virus in it, would it affect my personal email account, or am I safe due to the work computer's virus protection?

I just opened an email from my work computer, received in my personal AOL account, that I found out might contain viruses. It’s the “Better Business Bureau” virus, which is a simple email that says something about customer service and it has “Better Business Bureau” letterhead, but it’s not really from the BBB.

I am wondering if, even though I opened this from my work computer that is loaded up with virus protection, firewall, etc., if it will affect my other AOL email or steal info from other AOL email (like bank statements emailed to me, for example).
