I have Verizon FiOs and am probably going to be purchasing a MacBook soon. Can I hook up the MacBook's wireless connection to my FiOs router?

I have Verizon FiOs and am probably going to be purchasing a MacBook soon. Can I hook up the MacBook’s wireless connection to my FiOs router?

I’m not familiar with Verizon, but here’s the details on the MacBook wireless ability. You can compare specs:

Yup. I have that set up right now. I’m using the wireless router the FIOS tech set up for me. There is a pass-code on the back of the router you’ll have to enter under system preferences>network>airport (once you choose the network from the list of available wireless networks). Mine works great. It connects my iMac G5, PowerBook G4, and Apple TV over the same network.

I have both my MacBook and my Airport Express hooked up to my Verizon wireless router. Very easy to configure. The speed of my FIOS connection, however, is a little disappointing.
