How to report hackers on Runescape?

I believe there’s a contact link somewhere on the support site. If you can tell them your original password as proof that you really own the account they’ll probably give it back to you.

I hope you have set a bank pin, so even if the hackers got your account, they can’t empty your bank.

No. That, they won’t do. Giving people their stolen stuff back will upset the in-game economy. They wouldn’t even do that for the victims of the Falador massacre :-(

Anyway, if you still know your first password that you created the account with, you can use that to prove to them that the account was created by you.

Sorry I mean I have they account. Why would I prove to them that it was mine? What good will that do?

lol I am calm and yeah I know it’s just a game. It’s just really annoying. It wasn’t a matter of not getting on to my account. They didn’t change the password.

The hackers didn’t change the password? Then go quick change it! Also change your password recovery questions!

I’m not a big fan of password recovery questions. Too often, they give hackers enough clues to guess your password.

But sorry, your loot is gone if they emptied your bank…
