Thanks bk but bite me.:)

It’s freakin cold right now. Has been all weekend. I feel all Viking-y. Also Friday it snowed like mad…was about damn time.

DrBill's avatar

36° F I’m ready for spring

Adirondackwannabe's avatar

@Symbeline It was cold enough I saw an undead one warming himself over a trashcan fire.

ANef_is_Enuf's avatar

17F, according to weatherbug.

bkcunningham's avatar

Lol, @Adirondackwannabe. Hey, you asked. I would go for a swim, but my robe is in the washer.

janbb's avatar

About 20 F.

chyna's avatar

About 24 here. I think @gailcalled wins or loses as the case may be.

coffeenut's avatar

- 20 tonight, -25 tomorrow

Berserker's avatar

@Adirondackwannabe Lol. Undead Viking warming himself by trashfire. That would make a beautiful painting.

Adirondackwannabe's avatar

@bkcunningham That would feel tropical about now.
@janbb There’s some advantage to those toxic waste dumps. The chemical reactions provide some heat.
@gailcalled You get the worse of both worlds. The cold plus the nor’easters run right up your way

chyna's avatar

@coffeenut Where do you live?

Adirondackwannabe's avatar

@Symbeline That’s excellent. I stumbled onto an amazing art gallery today. One of the paintings was tiltled NIMBY. A guy sleeping on a couch with 5 elephants in his living room behind him. Struck me funny.

bkcunningham's avatar

My husband’s family is in Northern New York. It is minus 11 there tonight.

jrpowell's avatar

Snowing in Eugene Oregon. But barely sticking.

coffeenut's avatar

@chyna Canada, we do Celsius here sooo for you it would be -4 F tonight, -13 F tomorrow

mangeons's avatar

26F here, I can’t wait for spring! I like it in the 60s and 70s, thank you very much! :(

Adirondackwannabe's avatar

@coffeenut Cheater. Celsius wuss.
@mangeons I want 80’s and 90’s, with a lake nearby.

mangeons's avatar

@Adirondackwannabe Nooo, that’s too hot! 60s and 70s is the perfect temperature!

Adirondackwannabe's avatar

@mangeons Warmer the temp the less people wear. :) A’s going to kill me some day.

coffeenut's avatar

@Adirondackwannabe Feel free to drop by one night when it’s -20 C outside… or just go into a Deep Freezer to get the effect…

Adirondackwannabe's avatar

@coffeenut I’ve seen minus 35 degrees F where I’m at. You’re north of us. How the heck are you warmer?

mangeons's avatar

@Adirondackwannabe I’d never want to even be anywhere that gets that cold! How can you stand it???

coffeenut's avatar

@Adirondackwannabe you’ve seen that tonight?

Adirondackwannabe's avatar

@coffeenut Tonight’s balmy, it’s only minus 15 right now. That’s the coldest I’ve seen it.

Adirondackwannabe's avatar

@mangeons I’m in a cold area. I’m in the hills and it just happens. I have some excellent outdoor gear. It is really warm. When I was growing up we worked outside in lousy gear and we just sucked it up.

mangeons's avatar

@Adirondackwannabe If i lived somewhere that cold, I would move!

Adirondackwannabe's avatar

@mangeons You’re going to think I’m insane, but if I moved, it’d be north: Lake Placid.

mangeons's avatar

@Adirondackwannabe You’re right, I do think you’re insane! I think I would die if I lived that far north haha.

bkcunningham's avatar

I was in Lake Placid for the first time this summer. It is beautiful there. We stayed at Mirror Lake and I got to tour around places I’d never been before. I love warm weather, but I’ll tell you, that area is majestic.

Adirondackwannabe's avatar

@bkcunningham It’s amazing. I love it.
@mangeons There’s one huge plus to an area that cold. Idiots don’t live very long. The people are pretty sharp.

faye's avatar

It’s 22 below celsius here in Alberta. We’ve been hovering around 0 and even up to 10 above last week so it’s a shock! I wish I knew how to convert- it’s shameful- I grew up with fahrenheit.

jca's avatar

Not sure but it’s probably around 20. It’s really cold but it is supposed to warm up by week’s end. Next Saturday is supposed to be about 51, which is incredible for mid-January. We’ve been lucky so far – we had the snow right before Halloween, and otherwise, it’s been a great winter, so we can’t complain!

Judi's avatar

It was 70 degrees yesterday so we went camping. Woke up this morning to frozen water. Didn’t sleep that well. Did you know that a tempurpedic pillow gets as hard as a brick when it’s cold? Even firmer than it already is!
Came home and it got back upto 65 today.

wundayatta's avatar

It was the coldest day of the year, I think. Still, not all that cold. I don’t think it got below 20F. Except for the halloween storm, which disappeared the moment it hit the ground, we haven’t had any snow yet, this year.

jerv's avatar

It was freezing here a few minutes ago, but I expect it to drop into the high-20s tonight.

Sadly, it was warm enough for the snow to melt and make the roads wet; we already have black ice in my parking lot :p

gailcalled's avatar

@Adirondackwannabe: – (minus) 2˚ F now.

OpryLeigh's avatar

34 F or 1 C AKA Chuffing cold!
