Have you heard of or tried any Nuskin products?

Asked by raven860 (2179points) January 19th, 2012

My mother recently purchased a bunch of cosmetics/beauty products from this brand. She is intent on making me use the product for thinning hair.

Has anyone used their products? Do you have anything to say regarding its credibility?

I think they make a product that you can use instead of a bandaid on a cut or small wound. It is like finger nail polish (clear) in smell and consistency. It also seems as if I have read of blister protection by a similar name.

I don’t know about the cosmetic/beauty/hair products, but if it’s the product that @rooeytoo is talking about, yes, I’ve used this, and it works great. For relatively small wounds, it’s like putting a thin, clear coating on the wound that disinfects and seals it, eliminating the need for a band-aid. It’s waterproof and then wears off as the wound heals.

@rooeytoo – New Skin is the liquid bandage of which you’re thinking.

I’ve never tried any Nuskin products, but there are reviews of their products at MakeupAlley.com if you’re interested in reading them.

I tried their sunless tanning lotion, hoping that I might not be allergic to a more expensive brand. Alas, I was wrong. I am allergic to every sunless tanning lotion ever made, even Olay’s touch-of-sun.
