How to find a free clinic for std testing?

Planned Parenthood. That is as specific as I can get without knowing your exact location.

Planned Parenthood is your best bet if one is near you. If it isn’t free it is really cheap. I got tested for free a few years ago. That was in Oregon. I’m not sure if it is free where you live.

Is there something in particular you and he are worried about? I worked at an STD clinic in San Francisco a few years ago, and I can say that in my experience, heterosexual males are far more worried than they should be. That said, there is no harm in being tested.

No there’s no worry at all I just think it would be a good idea for us both to get tested just in case. His last girlfriend from what I gather was sleeping around quite a bit though. And since I’m on birth control now I figure if we both get tested and there’s no problems we can stop spending so much on condoms.

Unprotected sex is great and all (with an STD free individual and birth control + a strong notion of what you would do if the situation came up where you’d have to make a decision) but it’s annoyingly messy. We use condoms a lot because its protection from the mess too.

When you find the free clinic/planned parenthood, snag a bunch of free condoms while you are there. Should cut down on costs…

Most people tend to not think of it. I hadn’t realized it until I started having unprotected sex… they don’t show the cleanup on TV.

@D. Not sure what “TV” you are watching where they show “the mess” let alone the cleanup ;-) Even XXX movies don’t address the cleanup process…

I’m at work so can’t check the website, but back in the day, if you stayed up really late at night, you could find her and her friends on public access (i.e. free TV). She, along with Al Goldstein (another late night “pornographer”) were both famous enough that they were parodied on Saturday Night Live (Al Goldstein was played by Danny DeVito).

Please do use, use and use condoms. You should consider them as a requirement, not an option. It is really important. Having sex is great, enjoying after-sex is the best.

Send him to one of these free clinics they won’t tell anyone. Std Testing
