Replace ‘party’ with ‘orgy’ and you get what I think it should mean.

Where I’m from it was always the coded version for ‘let’s get stoned’.

“Let’s have fun”…yeah, the innocent version.

In days of old, when I was more likely with people who would use the expression, “let’s party” was usually followed by:
– mass consumption of alcohol
– extremely loud, (often horrible) music
– females dancing with their arms in the air
– males arhythmically trying to rub-up on said females
– males and females loudly professing “woooo”
– males competing for dominance
– females crying
– ungraceful displays of foreplay
– vomit
– despair

The first thing that comes to mind is an old friend who said that right before letting a stream of bullets fly.

If somene said it to me now, it would mean “let’s go out and get some drinks.”

“Let’s party” to me means there will be lots of laughing, excitement, and energy.
Doesn’t matter what we’re doing specifically.
There probably will be drinks though. At least beer.

Drink with people.

The way I’ve encountered it:

“Let’s Party!” = let’s get drunk and do drugs.

“Let’s Party!” = let’s hook up/have sex.
