What's a good gift for an aspiring chef?

My ex-girlfriend is starting culinary school soon. We broke up about 3 years ago, and haven’t been part of each other’s lives since, beside a warm x-mas card or letter every blue moon.
After a long period of personal struggle, she’s following her dreams and becoming a chef, and I couldn’t be more thrilled for her, so I wanted to get her a little gift to represent my good wishes.
I was wondering what would make a good/appropriate gift, given that we’re not really part of each other’s lives anymore.
