Have you ever hit the "Great Answer" spot when you meant to hit the "Flag as..." spot?

Asked by wilma (16457points) January 29th, 2012

I just did it again, I hit “Great Answer” when I was going to hit the “flag” for the answer.
It was something I never would have given a “Great Answer ” to and now I’m mad at myself.

Yes, and vice versa. At least when you do it in reverse (hit the Flag) you can back out of it.

I look at like this @wilma, the lurve is anonymous. You’re the only one that knows who gave it.

Yes @SpatzieLover I was going to just see what the flag as choices were and hit great answer instead. This isn’t the first time this has happened to me. I think I’m getting sleepy and should give it up for the night.

Yes, and when that happens, I always say so in the comment section of the flag.

I meant to mod a question for spam once and instead hit “GQ” which was rather embarrassing.

I don’t remember doing that on here, but I may have done the opposite. Thankfully, in the opposite case, there’s a way to back out of it. :)

Yep. I hate that!

Yeah, I have. My consternation was limited, however. :-)

Ahh, that sucks. I’ve never done it before though.

I have. Haha. It’s annoying.

Only a few times.

I’ve hit GA several times while trying to moderate an answer. So frustrating!

wilma's avatar

@augustlan and even you have no power to reverse that? Bummer!

JilltheTooth's avatar

I have, too, and it makes me nuts. Then I have to remind myself that nobody died, and it helps me recover.
Unless of course someone actually dies.

@wilma Lurve has more power than I. ;)
