I read Hope Mirrlees’ wonderful Lud-in-the-Mist because it was mentioned in a novel of Neil Gaiman. I’m currently looking up the films of Japanese director Yasujirô Ozu because I’ve just been reading about them in Muriel Barbery’s The Elegance of the Hedgehog.
What movie or book have you discovered because some other author or scriptwriter has posted a sign pointing to it?
