I'm naturally slothful-- any way to change this?
So I won’t call myself lazy in particular, but I always wait until the last minute to do important things and I usually don’t feel like doing much of anything except sleep and leisure activities. I feel like getting through the day is such a drag, and often I dread the tasks within. Coffee seems to get me focused and moving, but I don’t want to become a caffeine junky. Can I get myself out of this routine? Rationally I want to get everything done, I want to wake up early and prepare for the day yet I find myself hitting the snooze button several times. I want to get through the daily stuff at work early on but I drag thought it and finish later than I’d like. I am at conflict with myself, and my slothful side often wins out, which makes things harder. Any advice?
P.S. this probably comes from lifelong habits of procrastination and spending a surplus of time doing non-important (time-wasting) activities, and generally dragging my behind through life.
