Was Sacajawea in a relationship with Lewis or Clark?

Asked by auhsojsa (2516points) February 4th, 2012

I wonder if the relationship between Sacajawea and the group guide was strictly professional or if she had relations with any of the members.
Also I’m curious in a book of the expedition. Is there a definitive master novel that contains all journal material from the expedition? Thanks.

It is published in many different forms. It is all very interesting reading. From the diaries, and also witness accounts, there was no relationship other than her wanting to get back to her family, and them wanting to get to the ocean. The men in their crew were a different story, if you are interested, read the diaries which are readily accessible.

I would just like to point out that Lois and Clark is a TV show, Lewis and Clark were the leaders of the Expedition that Sacajawea was the guide for. :P

Her husband was also on the Expedition. Take from that what you will.
