UK Jellies, are you familiar with Cheryl Finance?

I work in finance in the UK and I have never heard of Cheryl Finance, having looked at their website it would appear that although headquartered in London they don’t seem to do any business in the UK and nowhere on their site does it say they are regulated by the FSA (Financial Services Authority) which is a legal requirement for all financial service providers in the UK.

I’ve done a search on the FSA register for them and they are not listed. My advice, approach with extreme caution.

This got me curious so I also searched them on Companies House, where all UK Limited companies are registered and it turned up nothing, also the phone number Cheryl Finance have on their website is a UK mobile phone number! The best bit, when I searched the address, Kinds Lodge London RD, West Kingdowns, TN15 6AR, turns out it is a residential street. Streetview of address

I wouldn’t touch them with a barge pole.

Have a look at their loaction on their map page and see if you spot the obvious mistake.

Tip for those who are stuck Interstate 80 ain’t in the UK

I’m in the UK and I’ve never heard of them.

The company has an American name, Cheryl Finance Inc, and yet its address is in the UK? There is a UK registered company listed at the address they give on their website. There is something odd going on here.
