Re; the recent flapdoodle on Meta... does this mean that the policy of a question having to be a question is now voided?

This would be wonderful since I often have to twist the language into knots to turn my topic into a valid and non-poll question.

Most of the “questions” I have had sent back for modding have been of the “this is not really a question” type.

Why not let Meta or Social be a ground for debate? I can’t see what would change.
