Can you help me identify this old Dinah Shore song title?

Asked by Adagio (14059points) March 9th, 2012

I’m looking for the name of Dinah Shore song, it would have been quite raunchy at the time and the only lyrics I can remember go something like “I’m your missus”… Would love it if you can provide the title. Thank you.

Clean up Woman?

I think you may mean I’m Your Girl.

No it’s definitely not “I’m your girl”… I’ll check out “cleanup woman”… Thanks people… Anyone else got any suggestions?

Gotta go! Judge Judy is on!!

Not “clean Up Woman” either…

I did look up a list of her songs, it was incredibly long but nothing rang a bell with me…

I see Clean Up Woman by Betty Wright.

Now that I think about it, I thought it was Diana Ross who sang Clean Up Woman. Betty Wright might be the original author tho. At any rate, it isn’t the song the OP is thinking of. It’s not really raunchy, either.

Not “My Man” either……

I would still really love to identify the song… I was thinking last night that maybe the lyrics I remember were “I’m his missus” not “I’m your missus”…

No wonder I couldn’t find the song title, just realised today that it was actually Peggy Lee singing the song, the song title is Fever … My apologies for sending everyone on a wild goose chase ; ^)
